Greetings:

I've noticed that the EditPro software files included with the remote have the Lutron pages "locked" somehow. Although I could probably re-create them with some work, I was hoping to modify them for my application. These sample pages are grey'ed out, and cannot be copied or edited, at least in the version that I have.

Does anyone know how to "unlock" them?

The pages you are referring to which appear to be locked out are not sample pages, but the actual pages used once you've downloaded the configuration file to the remote. Unfortunately these pages can not be modified. There is also no hard buttons tab under device properties for the Lutron device so all hard button assignments not specific to the Lutron activity are taken from the system device. This is also unfortunate. The latest editor update gave us the ability to modify certain hard button assignments for the Escient device. The same thing needs to happen for the Lutron device.

FYI, these pages use a full-page image placeholder and they CANNOT be edited. The Escient pages also have a different icon at the top-left than what shows up on the remote with the latest firmware.

LP, if you want the feature, email the team.

Hi All,

I am going to be working with an Escient Server later this week. Is there any reason why these pages are locked (copyright?) and has anyone experienced any issues with them not being editable when preparing an installation?

I haven't worked on an Escient before so I am running a bit blind at the moment!

Regards

The Escient pages on the 9600 are fixed and CANNOT be edited. The page you see in the editor is a facsimile of the one that shows on the remote once you download the config. See my previous post for more details.
