I am thinking of buying a TSU9600 to control my home cinema equipment, but additionally I would like control of some X-10 devies and a Lutron RF lighting system (Lutron Graphic eye with RF). Is there any way to do this (without increasing the mortgage) or would another remote be better ?

You need to get an IR X10 controller such as the IR543.

That looks as if it might work, thanks. Any ideas on the Lutron side ?

Hi,
With the RFX9600 it is maybe also possible to control X10 through the serial interface (fe. with the CM11 module).

You won't get 2-way communication through the RFX-9600 at this time, however...

I think the IR solution might be the best, at least for X-10. The IR543 seems to have been replaced by IR7243. If I could get the Lutron to work on Rf too....
Thanks for your help

In the 9600, is a process to control the Lutron Radio RA RF system. I did not know until I read your post, that the Grafik Eye was also an RF device? I always thought it was IR-ready.

The TSU9600 can control the Radio RA RF Lutron unit. It uses the Pronto RFX9600 extender and via the RS-232 port on the extender, which then feeds a Lutron device, which apparently takes the rs-232 signal and converts it to lutron RF.

The solution is not cheap. However, if you are controlling a lot of lights through out your home, it is probably a reasonable investment. From what I saw preliminarily, it is rather expensive for a few lights.

The graphik eye is normally only IR, but I have a RF extension module on it, with which I control 2 Grafik eyes. Have you got any idea what the Lutron module for the RFX9600 extenders model number is and roughly what the cost is ?

Does anyone have the X10 commands IR file for the TSU9600 to work with the IR543? I have one but can't seem to come up with the IR codes to control it.
