Hello,

yesterday i got my new tsu 9600 and i have been very happy.
But after installing the Pronto Edit Professionnal software, there is no factory database on my system. Also the button to copy selected factory settings into My Database stays grey.
So i downloaded the newest version of the software 1.0.37.0 and installed it but again no database.
The directory DATA is empty and the directory DATABASE contains just one file database.db with 0! (zero) bytes.
So i tried to download the factory database from pronto.philips.com but i couldn´t find it there.

Is there anybody out, who knows something about this behavior?

Greetings

Rainer

It should be 223,508 kb.

When you install PEP it spends some time doing the database. Watch it carefully to make sure it does not report an error.

The install kit zip file should be 82,198 kb. The setup program should also be 82,198 kb.

Hi Peter,

thank You for Your help.

I figured out, what happend. I think, there had not been enough free space on the drive. But there was no error report.

First at installation i tried to change the path to another one but when the install starts there occured an error with building the sql-database. After that i tried to change just the drive the same error occured.
So i didn´t change the original path anymore and the installtion runs on WITHOUT any error. The only thing i watched that between the installation the system needed more then 600 MB!!! free space at the drive.
As i said above the installation closed fine without any error but there was no database or exactly a database with a size of zero bytes.
So i tried the install on an other PC with plenty of free space on drive c: and here it works.
I think there have not been enough free space on drive c: on the other maschine but unfortunetly there is no way to change the drive or the path and also the software tells you that the installation ends fine.

Greetings

Rainer
