I saw that the Serial Extender (RFX 9600) is equipped with 4 RS 232 ports. Can we connect other than Lutron or Escient products to these products? (For instance, can we connect a Sanyo projector to one of these ports?) Can I get a working file showing how we deal with the RS232 commands?

Yes, you can connect any rs232 controllable piece to it, you can then either send standard 232 commands or write a ProntoScript.

Sebastien, It would appear that you've not been around for a while and are likely not aware of the Javascript enhancements to the TSU9600 supported by the latest firmware. It is also likely that you may not know that there's a ProntoScript (JavaScript + standard Pronto Objects) Developers guide available. You need editor 1.1.20 and accompanying firmware on your extenders and TSU9600. See here: [Link: remotecentral.com]

Actually, I got the TSU 9600 a couple of days ago and I started using the CD coming with (version of the editor is 1.0.37.0 dated Nov 10 2006). I'll download the new files. Thanks a lot.
