Does anyone know if Pronto Professional 3.0 will work on Windows 11?

I suspect you might be able to get it to work but don't rely on the out of the box install.

I did a fresh Win11 install on an "old" Lenovo T460 laptop a couple of days ago.
I just did a test and downloaded PEP3 from the RC file area, extracted it and double-clicked the installer.
The installer finished without any issues.

Afterwards I could launch PEP3 as the user who installed it (well, there's only one user set up on this machine) without needing to go through any hoops regarding admin privileges.
I opened my configuration file, made a minor change and saved it.
Then I plugged in my 9800 (direct USB connection, not using the dock) and clicked "download".
Worked like a charm.

So at least for me, it was a straight-forward process.

Just an FYI for others looking later at this thread.

I did a clean install of Windows 11 this weekend. I was able to load PEP3 (3.0.23) without error. I then restored My Database, imported my gallery and modified the 'ProntoEdit Professional 3.exe.config' file to point to my Javascript library files on my NAS.

Last, config downloads to my TSU9400's worked perfectly.

I'm curious about 1 thing. From my experience with all this, if C:\ProgramData\Philips\Common Database\componentdatabase.db file exists before the install and is really a Philips database, my runs of the installer did not hang.

I'm wondering if this is why some users after upgrading to Win11 don't have installer hangs.
