I recently added a Sony XR65A80J to my setup. I got the codes from Global Cache’s IR database. They had an “All Sony tvs” code set and a”Custom Installers Codeset”. Between the 2, I got all the codes I needed.

The code for the tv tuner is “Input Antenna”. All the HDMIs are “Input HDMI X”. There were a lot of Input codes for inputs current tvs no longer have, which was a little confusing. I setup my pc with the email from Global Cache on the left, and PEP2 on the left, so copy and paste went pretty quick.

The “TV” button on the remote is a shortcut. It is initially set to take you to “Channels”, Sony-speak for the Antenna Input, but you can change the button to other inputs at Settings/Channels & Inputs/TV button shortcut.

That’s interesting @ask4mikie, thanks. I’ll look it up.
As far as the TV button is concerned, my point was that this button did not seem to send IR but only RF. Is it not?
