Just a guess, but I just bought a TSU9600 and could not get it to work with a brad new latest and greatest router if I used a password. With the age of the TSU models I believe it just doesn't work well with the latest protocols. I had to use a older Wireless Bridge to use as an in between. Worked great.

I went back to the old router. It's connecting. Diagnostic though giving me the below error

Extender 1 ip address is unknown

I have gave the extender a fixed ip and on the diagnostics screen i am getting the error that extender did not reply

I have tried a second extender and it works fine without any issues. Any idea what might be the issue with the first one?

Did you set a fixed up via the extender config screen?

Also, if you have multiple extenders that the tsu uses, all must be set to fixed ip addresses in pep2. Only marking one of multiple will not work.

Okay it was something stupid i didn't configure the extended for all components :D

I am using PEP 3. Do i still have to use fixed ip or extended id is enough?

No need to use fixed IP unless you are having issues. Note that when you do this, extender discovery is bypassed and that is why you must set the IP address for all extenders.
