One of my Pronto TSU9400's battery doesn't last long - just a few minutes and then I get the low battery warning. I'd like to get a replacement.

I understand that the TSU9400's battery specs are:

3.7vdc 1700mah/6.29kwh, lithium/polymer

(and need a T6 Torx).

Are these generic batteries or custom made specifically for the TSU9400?

I found a few threads regarding TSU9400 batteries, but they're quite old (seems servicewidetech.com, isn't around anymore). I did an online search and I see some places that advertise TSU9400 batteries. But, I'm just wondering if I were to get a new battery if it is something that may have been sitting on a shelf for many years.... Anyone had to get a new battery recently and have recommendations on source?

I've bought new ones for the 9800 on eBay and they are not custom. They work just fine, though I'd remove the back and double-check everything before ordering. Some things that purport to me 9800 batteries are not, and that might be true of 9400 too.

Note that the batteries are for RC9800 and not the TSU9800. They are flat instead of being cylindrical (TSU9600 requires 1 cylindrical battery whereas TSU9800 requires 2).

search Ebay for TSU9400 battery.

The Cameron-Sino ones should work just fine.

Thanks!

Original battery lasted almost 12 years. I just ordered one. I should be good for another 12 years... (my other 3 TSU9400s are still on their original battery).
