I am getting really frustrated with this situation. As stated I am trying to use ProntoEdit with a new MacBook Pro 2016 through Parallels 12.

I have had it running previously but now I am getting a couple of errors. The first one is a message in Parallels saying "Unable to connect Pronto Control Panel to your virtual machine now".

I have also got the error C5 HID which is common but probably because of the first error. I do have a windows 7 machine which will work but it has a failing HDD. Is there anything that I can copy from that machine or can someone tell me how I can fix this issue?

Does Windows show that the Pronto is connected via USB? I'm using a 2016 MacBook Pro with VMWare Fusion 8.x and Windows 10. When I Plugin the Pronto, VMWare prompts whether I want to connect it to the Mac OS or Windows.

Yes it does but I get a connection error. Where is the default driver location?
