I've searched exhaustively and have had no luck with what "appears" to be a simple easy fix.

We have a client who has a Pronto TSU 9200. Apparently he has switched from Time Warner Cable to AT&T U-verse for television watching.

I have been tasked with making his remote compatible with his AT&T U-verse set-top box.

For a complete layman (no prior knowledge about universal remotes) can you tell me how to program his remote to work on his new AT&T platform?

My boss is convinced this should be possible. Please tell me it's so.

You Can Do It.
Download The Software.
Read The Instructions.
Learn the IR from the AT&T U-verse set-top box.
Done. Sort of.

If there are other devices you need to make them also. DVD ,TV, etc.... This Makes it a longer process.

You Can't UPLOAD From THE REMOTE TO THE COMPUTER.

Try to get the old files from the last person that programed that remote.

You should probably get one of these remotes to experiment with before tampering with the clients.

Good Luck.

We have software and the program that's currently loaded into the remote for we are the ones who originally programmed the remote. I say "we" because a previous employee was previously responsible. And we followed all the instructions. But are you saying we need to have the remote learn from the set-top box rather than the AT&T remote?

The Phillips 9200,9400,9600,9800 remotes can learn the commands from the U-verse remote, not the box itself. The Phillips remote must be connected to a computer with the software running. If you want to test it, have the U-verse box there and a 9200 remote.

You don't need the original remote. But you will need the U-verse codes.I think that device came out after Phillips created their database. Lots of codes can be found here, but that one is not listed.

Perhaps someone could upload their own codes to the Remote Central database.

I have a uVerse DVR IPH 8110. I already learned all the keys on the AT&T remote. I am in ProntoEdit right now, is there a way to export them for member OUB?

Pack And Go File.Windows Computer needed.

Or.

Send them the pronto file and let them try and upload it (Not Recommended). Windows Computer and Pronto software needed.

If you can upload the uVerse file to the file area it would help others in the future.
