Hi,
I've recently acquired a 9400 remote. It all looks great, powers on and display works fine.
However, when I upload a config into it, nothing seems to respond to IR signals from it?
I've used PEP 2/3 and set it to no wireless, no network hoping that would help.
So IR from the remote doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something very simple wrong?

Before I assume a hardware problem, you mentioned everything about disabling wireless and other stuff but I did not see any mention of Extender configuration from PEP2/3. Is the component in the Building Blocks for your equipment set to use an extender on the Right-hand side (Checked Box) ? If so, uncheck the 'Extender 1' or 'Extender 0' and try again.

Hi Lyndel,
Yes, have disabled the extenders.
I downloaded a couple of user made XCF's off this site and although made for the same equipment as mine they didn't work for me.
However, I have found one system config with my components in it and that works ! So the IR does work which rules out HW failure!
I'm now not sure why those earlier XCF's don't? Strange
