Looking to resurrect my TSU9800 from the cupboard where it has remained since an abandoned programming project a few years ago.

I want to get away from the brightly coloured 3D buttons of most other designs and start from scratch with something grey/pastel, flat and minimalist - in the way of current Android and iOS thinking. There seems to be little in way of existing graphics, templates. Can anybody offer any suggestions please? (I am by no means an experienced graphic artist or interface designer/programmer).

With thanks in anticipation,

GeoffT.

I like this one.

It was made for the 9400.

Currently I use solid colors with no graphics on my buttons or panels. The background is solid or a simple gradient. It is easier to make a 2 or 3 color theme. The buttons are rectangular or square. The color can be changed with a script along with the text color.

I went to simple graphics to increase memory space. But as a bonus I can also change colors whenever I get board.

There are sites that have free png icons,  just do a web search for png icons. There are also resources on this website for graphics and design.[Link: files.remotecentral.com]

That's certainly a sweet design and very much in line with what I'm thinking. I'm aiming to get away with one common screen layout across all devices, with specific per-device functions highlighted while others will be greyed out. With the TSU's hard buttons I don't need transport, OK, left, right, up, down etc.

Many thanks for pointing your design out. Probably wouldn't have found it otherwise.
