I use the TSU 9400. I wa wondering if anyone has the new 4th generation Apple TV. Its Siri remote with touch and Siri voice interface looks impressive. It supposedly can be used to turn on and off the TV and receiver. I don't have it yet. While I may use the Siri remote, I'm still interested in being able to use it with my Pronto TSU9400. The Apple remote supports Bluetooth and infrared. Bluetooth is used to control the Apple TV. However. I wonder if infrared is only used to control TVs and receivers. Has any Pronto users gotten the new Apple TV?

The 4th gen ATV does have an IR receiver. It's still able to be controlled by IP as well, though from what I heard the protocol for IP has changed. [Link: remotecentral.com]KOT

I have the new 4th generation Apple TV and I am able to control normal functions with my TSU9600 using all of the IR codes from the previous generation.
