I have created a file using PEP 3 for my TSU 9600. The 9600 has the most recent updates in it. The program runs fine on the simulator and when I download it to the Pronto, there are no errors. However, once it is loaded on the Pronto things go haywire. The the area on the silver bar at the top of the screen, on the left side where the Activity Name should be displaying reads instead "Connecting...". This never goes away. The reaction time to pressing a button is extremely, extremely slow and some buttons don't work at all.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on and what to do about it?

Thanks,
Randy

What are you connecting to? Directly to a RFX-9400, or indirectly to a RFX-9400/9600 via a Wifi router?

If indirectly, what is your router? Are you using WEP or WPA security? I've tried a few different routers myself and each one of them needs to be in WEP. Even if the router was made back with the Pronto came out, or a current router.

Directly to a TSU 9600.

I loaded the Pronto sample file and it works fine. Has to be in my file.

I suspect that in the right hand side of the box at the bottom, you have an RFX9600 Extender added to the project and checked. Remove the extender on each component you have created.

Or, you have set the Pronto TSU9600 in Network Mode (Go to System Properties and look at Network tab in Properties area). If you have done this, then upon startup, it will try to register onto the network.
