OK, I know this is a bit of a long shot, but...

I just subscribed to Swisscom TV (2.0) and am trying to find the pronto IR codes so I can use my TSU9600 to control it. Unfortunately, my TSU9600 does not "learn" anymore, so I am wondering if anyone here may have the pronto hex codes that I could use.

any help would be much appreciated.

Do you know why it no longer learns IR codes?
Pronto still one of the best Wi-Fi Remotes,

No Idea. It takes many attempts to get it to grab an IR code, then seems to randomly store hex codes that don't do anything (occasionally very long ones at that...perhaps repeating certain sequences). Have not been able to figure out what's wrong with it. To be clear, I have only tried this while it is plugged into the USB port with Pronto Professional 3 running.

Can the 9600 learn other devices?

Unfortunately not. That worried me when I bought a new A/V receiver and changed my TV, but I have always been able to find the hex codes thus far.

I really think this is by far the best remote bar none. Have played with what's available today (e.g. Harmony Ultimate)...but none get close to this. The ability to customize it to my needs and control all to this level is fantastic. If I could find another near new one with a great battery life and capability to learn...would jump on it!

There could be a hardware issue with the 9600.

I always shield the Pronto's from room ambient light while learning IR codes. And, you may need to experiment with the relative positions of the remote and the Pronto. Experiment with brief and extended button presses on the remote.

IrMaster can be a really useful tool.

Thanks, Buzz, will give that a go and see if it works. The rest of the 9600 works just fine...only the learning piece it a bit problematic.

I will also look at IrMaster. Swisscom actually offers an IR dongle to hook up to their set-top box. Perhaps I can use that as a receiver and IrMaster SW to receive the codes. I have had problems finding any HW for this in CH... although it could well be that I just don't know where to look.

In term of the Swisscom TV codes, I was able to track down some that work...not I just need a few of the ones missing plus the discrete codes for a couple of functions.
