Yes I'm new

Could any1 tell me if I could get a project of the pronto control it self to update it because I installed a new os and forgot to save it on a external HD

Also I need ir codes for pioneer BDPlx 58 pretty please :)

You cannot upload the config from the Pronto. Sorry.

If you do not have a copy, you will need to start from scratch.

You can try some of the codes from here.

If your model is not found, try one that is similar as most vendors use the same IR codeset across different models with maybe a few buttons that are different.

Pioneer's website actually has a whole bunch of IR/RS-232 codes on it's data base.

Like Lyndel said, an IR code may operate more than just one component in it's line up. For example, the discrete On and Off codes. I have been using the same IR codes since the late 90's for my AVRs over the years.
