Hello all,
I used to own the first Pronto made a black and white one but it was sold when i moved away.
Question i was looking at buying a 980 and wondering will it still learn new remotes i would have to use whatever icons it comes with as being a Mac user i could not connect to my Macbook.
Are they still a workable choice in 2014 i do know that remote signals have changed over the years
Anyone still using one with modern equipement

Yes, many of the IR protocols have not changed and the 7x00 is still a viable remote. That being said, the 7000 is supported in the Next Gen Forum. The Pro Forum is reserved for TSU9x00 series.

The 7000 requires a special driver that only works in Win32. I believe some have been successful using BootCamp. The NG forum will have more info.
