Can anyone here help. I am running windows 7. When I instal either pep 2 or 3 it all works but the help section doesn't, it opens but empty of content. When I use explorer and go to help directory in windows, it is full of files though. Is this a windows 7 issue that can be fixed as I won't manage to learn to program the remote without help files. Help would be greatly appreciated

Don't have any suggestions for you with respects to PEP v2/3 short of uninstalling/reinstalling though I'm sure you've tried that. That being said, why not install PEP v1.1.20 and see if you have the same issue as you are having with PEP v2/3. If you are able to get PEP v1 down the transition to PEP v2/3 will be a breeze not that I'm advocating PEP v2/3. I'm not. I use PEP v1 exclusively. Would rather chew off one of my own limbs than use PEP v2/3. To each his own though. Good luck.

PEP 2/3 help uses your internet browser along with something called RoboHelp for local searching and navigation. You may have a browser and/or security permissions issue.

Which is to say... it works fine on Windows 7 Pro with IE10 for me.

I wish that I could have good news for you on your windows machine. I have Windows 7 installed on my Mac via VMware. I too am having trouble viewing the help files. I can open the index page, but the list on the left is empty. I tried EI, Safari, Chrome and still nothing.

However, if I move that entire folder over to my Mac. I can open it and view everything just fine. Sorry couldn't of been any more help.
