Hi there,

somehow my stylus has broken & is stuck in the slot where it belongs. It is rattling around but wont come out. Can anyone advise me of how to get it out? I bought the unit from overseas so it isnt under warranty.

Thanks in advance

The only way is to take the unit apart. I don't suggest this as many things can break. Maybe you should try to send it in for exchange.

I would not have thought that breaking the stylus would be covered by warranty.

Get a piece of wooden dowel about the same diameter as the stylus. Get some crazy glue put the crazy glue carefully on the tip of the dowel trying not to get it on the sides. Push the dowel into the stylus hole until it touches the broken end of the stylus. Hold it there a few seconds and maybe just maybe it will adhere and when you pull the dowel out it will bring the stylus with it.

If you're nervous about using crazy glue try some contact cement by first wetting the dowel end and trying to get some onto the end of the stylus. Remove the dowel Give it a few moments (10-15) to dry on each part. Proceed as above.
