The link for the system "tools" button has disappeared. You used to hold for 3 seconds in order to change certain functions. How do you get it back?

If you click "view" at the top and check the box for object toolbar, you can add all off the OEM buttons back to your template such as the USB icon, battery, date, tools, etc.

The actual button is visible on my Home screen but when pressed (held for 3 seconds) it does not link to the configuration screen. How do I reset that link?

Are you attempting to access the settings pages via the Simulator by chance? This is not possible as it is with PENG/PPENG for the Pronto NG line of remotes. That being said, the "Settings Button" system item can't be configured or reset. It does what it does. If it's not working I'd suggest creating a new XCF in the editor, then downloading to the remote to test. Perhaps the XCF you're working with presently is corrupt in some way. You'll want to also make sure you're using the latest editor and firmware for the remote. For good measure I'd perform a full firmware update on the remote as well.

I would delete the tools button that is there now and insert a new one from the menu in this case.
