Hi Forum,

If i cant find a reciever in the factory database, what is the most efficiant route to take:

a) download code set online (where?)
b) add device and manulally teach each function one by one
c) any other way i cant think of

any help would be great

Try codes from same manufacture. Look for a model # that is close to what you are trying to control.

Onkyo codes have been pretty consistent over the years. Most of the codes should be the same as prior and near models #.

Yamaha Same thing.

LG pretty much the same and some times has an over lap with Zenith codes.

Lutron is under home in the NG database 1 2 3 4 5 are the scenes and Off.
