Is it possible extract a pcf from a TSU9600? If so, how is it done?
And also, i can't access my TSU through 'My Computer' as a removable drive. G drive appears when i plug it in, but it won't actually connect.
thanks for you help

The ability to upload from the remote to the PC is not possible. Accessing the remote via "My Computer" is also not possible even though the drive letter appears when the remote is docked. This is by design.

The inability to upload from the 9600 is designed in to help protect the work of custom installers/programmers that have spent time and money creating custom graphics, WAVs, Templates, and Scripting etc. This way people like myself don't have to worry about some hack getting hold of a remote design that I spent hundreds of hours perfecting and reselling it as their own.
I will tell you that there was talk early on about having access to downloading files from the 9600 with the proper certification level reached through the professional portion of the Pronto website. I have not really heard much about this since the initial CEDIA introduction of the 9600. Currently the only certification level available is level 1 of 4, so perhaps it will show up again as higher level certifications become available.
It was also discussed that a password protection scheme on the remote could be an option but it seemed to have some vulnerabilities to those with modest programming skill, and thus was not implemented.

It is not technically possible to extract the PCF. When the configuration is converted to a binary form to download to the 9600, so much information is stripped away that the process is irreversible.
