jazzman,
PCFs are configuration files for the TSU-7x00, for a Pronto 9600 you will need XCF files.

To open a PCF in ProntoEdit Professional you need to import the file via the file menu option, "File->Import PCF".

This forum is for the Pronto Professional (Pronto 9600).

The TSU6000 is covered by the Pronto Classic forum.

PCFs are used by the Pronto NG series which is covered by the Pronto NG forum.

And... For the TSU6000, you can only use CCF files. You may be able to copy/paste IR codes from other remotes, but to use the graphics, you will need to become familiar with an image editor as CCF files use the .BMP format and most Color Files for NG and TSU9600 remotes use .PNG image format which support transparency.
