Hello
I've installed a tsu9600 with a serial extender at a custumer . This custumer say he has problems with the remote giving 'command failed' so i've updated the firmware of the remote and now i'm trying to update the extender .
Can someone tell me how to do this ???

I have to ask... Did you even read the manual that came with the extender (PDF also available for download) prior to asking this question?
Info from manual...
You use the cross-connect cable that came with the extender to connect directly to a PC or you use a straight-thru cable and connect the extender to a router and also connect PC to router (wired, not wireless). You then flip switches on the extender to enter 'Config' mode and then use a WebBrowser to connect to the IP address listed on the back of the RFX9600. 192.168.8.80, I believe.
Extra stuff I've had to use in the past that was not well documented.
For your PC's configuration, you also will want to make sure that the gateway that you use is 192.168.8.1 and not 192.168.1.1 so that the PC and Extender are on the same subnet.
