Screws are behind the rubber feet and label on the back. Why are you opening? There are NO user serviceable parts inside. The battery is a single unit and Philips never intended the user to replace the battery.
These things are a bear to get apart and if you not EXTREMELY careful, you will break a tab and the unit will not snap together snugly in the future.

Given the limited duration of the battery charge when using WiFi connectivity, isn't there a possibility that the battery will have to be replaced sooner than later? I kept my RC-5200 Marantz remote for five years and never replaced the battery but am wondering if my TSU9600's battery will survive for that long...

I could do that but I am not confident that I will get a very useful answer from them. Often, they (the manufacturers) give you something like "the battery has been designed to perform correctly for a normal period of time under normal conditions". Maybe I am getting a bit cynical as I get older but thought I would get something more objective from this forum...

Well, if you email prontoteam at philips dot com, this box goes directly to the engineering team and does not go through a customer service rep.

How to open it is one thing, how to close it again is somethingelse.

Back cover removal is not a really big deal. However, complete disassembly is a royal pain and many things that can break.
