I've been reading over the Prontoscript documents and FAQs pages but haven't seen anything about RSS, is this something independent of Prontoscript that hasn't been released yet or did I miss something??

You could create your own parser using javascript.

What exactly do you mean by "parser"?
What I'm trying to do is: for my DirecTV XM Radio have links so when a station icon is pressed (let's say XM Cafe) it pops up this RSS:

[Link: beyondxm.com]

which should show the artist, album and song title

Well, it's like this. You use the TCPSocket to connect just like a web browser would. IP Address:Port (Port 80 is HTTP). Then, you must build an HTTP request to send to the web server. From there, you will get a response. You must then sift through the data you receive to pull out the XML markup that is in the response. Then, and only then, can you use this XML for the Pronto.

Philips did create some examples earlier on for the Beta Site. I'm not sure if these examples will be published for public consumption.

Yep, just a bit out of my programming range right now. Maybe someone will come up with an example that I can study or the beta will include one when released to the public.
