In Philips Pronto Professional factory database they have a lot of code sets for Mitsubishi TVs. They do not have my model number which is WS-73907. My question is how do you know what code set to use. And what is a code set.

Thanks
Dennis

A code set is a set of ir codes. If you're not sure which codeset to use you should try some, but in your case there is an easier way, you could import this ccf for the codes:

Extract [Link: remotecentral.com]

- In the File menu, select Import CCF.
- Browse to your code library (the extracted MitsubTV.ccf) and click Open.
- Right-click the device you want to store the codes from. (In this case TV)
- Select Save to My Database in the context menu.
- Select Brand (Mitsubishi), Device (TV) and the Model number (WS-73907) in the lists or create new names
- Click OK.
The functions and codes are added to 'My Database', you can drag and drop them on buttons.
