I'm currently running with the following...

TSU9600 Firmware: v1.4.28
TSU9600 Editor: ProntoEdit Professional 1.1.20

Since updating the remote and editor I've been having a problem with various images in my configuration file which use PNG image transparency showing up properly in the remote 100% of the time. One moment everything will be displaying in the remote as it should and the next moment after a page jump a given PNG file which uses image transparency won't be showing on-screen at all no matter what page I go to which contains said image. Either that or only part of said image will be showing on-screen. At times I can simply leave a given page and come back to it to get said image to show up on-screen. Jumping to another page at that point and back again and said image is once again no where to be found. In all cases a reset of the remote is the only thing which will result in the remote displaying all images properly as it should. This only lasts for so long however, before the problem starts happening again at some point. Note that currently only the larger of the images in my configuration file using image transparency appear to be affected. Smaller images like buttons for instance have yet to show any problems in this regard.

I've also been having a similar problem with regards to the Windows Media Center device. Quite regularly when on the Player page either the screen data won't update or the cover art will show as black for instance when just a few minutes earlier it was showing properly. Each time this happens I have to jump to the Browser page or my Activities page then back to the Player page for the proper data and cover art to be displayed on the Player page. In each case when making that initial jump to the Browser page or Activities page there is image corruption. When jumping to the Activites page my background image won't be showing on-screen at all which contains no image transparency by the way. When jumping to the Browser page instead the background image which is supposed to be showing is not there. Instead the background image and other elements from my system page are showing instead. Jumping back to the Player page at that point results in both the proper data and cover art showing up on this page. I can then jump to my Activities or Browser page, both of which will display their images properly.

The latest firmware is clearly to blame here. Not sure if the latest editor is playing a part in this problem or not. If I revert back to the previous official firmware and use a configuration file which doesn't contain any ProntoScript references the problems described above can not be replicated.

Well, have you also sent your XCF file via email to ProntoTeam at philips dot com? Also, when you email, also reference this post. The editor likely has nothing to do with this issue. If I understand your config correctly, you are almost out of memory anyway. Maybe with the addition of ProntoScript, you are over the limit or very, very close and garbage collection may be causing some problems. My suspicion is only hypothetical. The Prontoteam will need to perform the official diagnosis.

I've decided to spend the next week testing before emailing the Prontoteam. I'll be attempting to replicate the problem with small example files to help narrow down what's going on. Problem could certainly be specific to my XCF due to it's size or other reasons as you've mentioned. Going to also be taking some pictures of the remotes screen when it's messed to better illustrate what I'm talking about. Thanks for the input Lyndel. Appreciate it.
