Does anyone know if the iPronto Network Extender will work
with the new TSU9600. I have an old iPronto and would like
to upgrade to the TSU9600 and NOT have to buy a new WiFi
Network Extender.

Will not work. Different protocol. Can only use the RFX9400/9600 extenders with the TSU9600.

Yes, they are wrong! The RFX9400 and RFX9600 only work with the new TSU9600.

For the old iPronto the NetX is the only extender that works with it

This site also lists the TSU7X00 series which is also wrong. The 7X00 series only works with the RFX6000 or RFX6500.

Besides the fact that it won't work, there are more reasons to buy the new extenders:

Below you can find a summary of benefiting differences between the former Pronto NG extenders RFX6500/LI910 and the new RFX9400 wireless - and RFX9600 serial extender:
Virtually unlimited controlling distance (former RF max. 30 m)
High Frequency IR codes up to 1 MHz (B&O, Sony, former RF 25 – 100kHz)
Fewer disturbances from other RF sources
Possibility to work around RF shielding by linking the extenders with a wired connection to the network
Feedback on macro performance (Command failed message on control panel)
Locking: Single user access to the extender at the same time
Diagnostic mode will indicate the problem (if they arise)

edit:

Woops, it's the NTX6400 you're talking about.
