Given the rather annoying toggle code for MCE pc power on power off, is there an easy way to have the TSU9600 wake the PC from Sleep mode?

I am using the PadOne MCE interface and have the PC in a remote room. I have a hardwired IR link to the PC but know way of knowing if the PC is awake or sleeping.

Other than using the extender to monitor the power status can anyone think of an easy way to determine the PC status?

Could some form of wake on Lan system be used or could the Prontoscript be used to monitor failure to connect to the PC's IP address??

Alternatively is there some other workaround for the toggle code for MCE pc power on power off problem

Thanks

Chris

Wake on LAN should work if you are willing to write a short Pronto TCPIP application to "nudge" the PC so it will wake up.
