I am using a Lift-Tech to drop a TV from the ceiling on a job (its loud but looks pretty cool). Anyway, when i add the TV DROP command to a set of commands it does not work. meaning when the user clicks that they want to watch TV, i cant drop the screen and then turn the TV on, set up sound, blah blah blah... But when its a single action to drop the TV it works everytime. I am using IR to send the commands to the lift. Anyone have a suggestion on why it works as a standalone command, but not in a group of commands?
Thanks
Drabert

Try increasing the duration of the commands.

In PEPV2, this is done by examining the Component Functions in MyDatabase. In PEPV1, you could do it directly on the dialog that displayed the IR code data or directly on the function in MyDatabase.

In addition to changing the duration, sometimes I find that adding a brief pause before and/or after a probem device command can be helpful. The exact order of the commands may be in the mix too.
