I am getting the "Extender not defined" error in the diagnostics when using the iPort module V1.10 on a TSU9600 FW V7.33. I do not have V7.22 FW to try. FW7.121 does not appear to work with the module but I do lose the diagnostic error. Can someone verify this?
Thanks in advance.

Well, the obvious question is: have you defined the Extender in your configuration?"

You know what the obvious answer is going to be. Yes, in the parameters page. Can anyone tell me if they have had this module working in FW V7.33?.

I think he meant, have you defined the extender in Building Blocks?

Yes, this is obviously what I meant.

As with most Pronto PS modules that I have used you don't actually define the extender in the building blocks as the module does not appear in the "equipment & codes" list. I was actually hoping for some usefull feedback from someone who knows the module. Have you used the module? Anyway I hacked the .js from the library, bypassed the get.extender function and hard coded the extender id and port-1, I got rid of the diagnostic error but I still dont get any song list which is a shame as I have 12 iPorts on the way.

You need to add the extender in the building blocks, it doesn't matter that you don't assign equipment to it, it just has to be there.

In all my modules I usually add 0-9 and A-F as a RFX9600 because most users forget to add their extender.

I do have 2 extenders defined, I usually define them from the network tab so sorry for the confusion. I already have Kaleidescape and Escient fireball running and working well in 17 rooms on the yacht, the problem is that the Escient takes too long to load the track list. So we thought we would give the iPort a try as we have them working well in AMX and Crestron installations using the supplied modules. However the Pronto module does not seem to be as good. I do believe the problem lies within the firmware but no one seems to know for sure.

And if using Port 3 for 2-way, ensure that you are not doing 1-way on Port 4. As a send on Port 4 will trash the receive buffer for port 3. Search this forum for UART for more information.
