Hi!

Please, give a cue if there is any tool which allows to extract a code from the philips pronto database and convert it to the HEX code. (for its usage in anothet app)

Best regards, Dmitry.

The only way to it is load it to a Pronto and then learn it to another Pronto.

What codes do you need?

What if you search this site under the files area, let's say here:

Download a tool (let's say PDBTools) and give it a try?

Hi BluPhenix,

Have you tried PDBTools before?

When I try it all I get is codes like this,

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

Do you know if their is another tool to convert these to a learnt hex code (start with 0000)?

Cheers
Jason

If the code is 'protected', you will not get the '0000' format of Pronto Hex.

By 'protected' do you mean if the Function says 'Database Code' in the DB file?

Yes, that means that Philips does not want you to be able to directly copy the code and it shows as 'Database Code' in the editor. The only way to get the real raw '0000' format is to download config to remote and learn on 2nd pronto (I have an older Marantz RC5000i that I keep for exactly that purpose).

Thanks Lyndel. That's what I thought but BluPhenix said you could reveal database codes with PDBTools as that was what the OP wanted to do.
