Dear Pronto community,

Herewith we want to apologize for the incorrect link published on our website last Friday.
The correct version is 1.4.7 and has been adjusted accordingly.

Kind regards,
The ProntoTeam

Lyndel, is that link for me? You think the partial firmware install bricked the panel?

Formix,

Yes, that link to servicewidetech is for you. I think you may be bricked. Email prontoteam.

I would find someone with an XP-based PC to do the update just in case there are complications due to Win7.

Very prescient. For info, the panel firmware upgrade simply won't install under Win7 32bit (it repeatedly says that the firmware is corrupt) but the same file upgrades successfully under Vista.

I started under Win7, then tried it under Vista, then under XP. And it does appear my panel is bricked (sigh). It doesn't seem right I should have to pay to fix my panel when it was the firmware that bricked it, and all I was trying to get was some stability in my connection.....

The new release of PEP installed just fine for me on Win 7 64 bit. And the panel firmware upgrade also ran fine for both of my TSU9600s.

Doubtful. Search for the ProntoTeam user account here, get their email addy, and make a plea to Belgium as your unit does appear to be bricked. Maybe they can work with service wide tech to provide some relief. Reference this thread in your email as well.

FWIW: Upgrades installed fine on TSU9800, TSU9400, and RFX9600. No problems! PEP installed fine too. Everything done on Vista x64, except RFX9600 that was upgraded from an XP x32 laptop with X-over cable.

Anyone having problems updating the RFX9600?

Currently on 1.4.5 trying to update to 1.4.7, updating directly via Crossover cable with XP laptop which I used to update extender to 1.4.5

Everytime I log into the RFX9600 and go to update with the new .bin it fails and says it is a corrupt file.

Any tips?

It should be a Zip file that you use to do the update not a .bin
