I've recently re-installed XP on my laptop and when I was installing PEP V2 something strange happend:

and this notice popping up each time "Could not load ..." :

I've got Outlook Security running and this came up at the same time:

And when starting up PEP and trying to edit a button in Button Properties, the symbols is not there:

I tried installing PEP on my Windows 7, but same thing happend there.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Renos is a Trojan that tells you, you have a virus when you dont.

can you change the font in microsoft word?

download all the latest windows updates for xp and switch your firewall on.

So is that good or bad? Something I have to remove?

All the normal fonts are in Word, except ProntoMaestro. But I found the ProntoMaestro font file in the "Windows/Fonts" folder.
And what I have found (link: www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/prontopro/thread.cgi) is that the symbols is in the ProntoMaestro font.

download all the latest windows updates for xp and switch your firewall on.

Didnt find any important updates and my firewall is on (Windows firewall is off, though). I use Outlook Security Suite Pro.

Found some optional software updates under the Custom option in Windows update, that did the trick. The 3 things I installed is:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Update for Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x86 (KB976569)

Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1

Update for Windows XP (KB971513)

Not sure what did what, but my symbols are back!

Renos is very difficult to remove manually but Microsoft addressed it in their updates a while ago. hence why i suggested the update. ironically 90 percent of the time it is loaded via javascript in a web browser and sits in the dll directory taking your web browsers to sites that tell you that your computer is infected and to click ok to download the solution. which of ofcourse it isnt. im assuming your security suite is up to date enough to stop it running, just not able to find and remove all traces of it from the system folders.
