The question is: Does the Pronto have the processing power/speed to run a 30 year old video game?
Sadly, I think the answer is no.
On a similar note - if anyone has an old Space Invader machine that they have modified to run as a Sonos controller I'd be glad to hear from you.

Yer had a ZX81 also for a short while I was oooh about 6!.. Man did that thing know how to crash just when you've got a few lines to go.. Yes sadly I did start tinkering that early.
But on the gaming note.. I think it would be semi possible particularly on the 9400 as the screen is less to update and you can really notice the speed difference.. Plus it's portrait so ready for some classic gaming history.

You might be wrong. In the games section on the prontoscript site you have some games (Pang, Kazamm) and someone on this forum (maybe Guy) developed a tetris game. So yes, a pacman / arkanoid / etc is doable.

Pac-man seems like a longshot i looked at a boiled down script not so long ago it was something like 5k of lines mostly due to the AI of the individual ghosts.
still i spose a barebones version may be achievable. the map is a lot of images to load for a pronto though .
