This question derives from a problem I am having with an iPronto/NetX setup. The iPronto forum is all but dead, but since the iPronto uses the same wireless technology as the 9600, I thought I might find someone on this forum who can address my question.
"NetX" is Philips name for its iPronto companion 'RF' extender. It communicates via a wireless network access point. It appears to be setup correctly in that the iPronto detects and names the device. To use it, you enable "RF" in the editor's device properties screen, autodetect the device in the same screen, then download the revised file into the Pronto. In my case, the Pronto does not appear to be issuing any wireless commands. The NetX device does not indicate receiving RF or sending IR as it is supposed to do (It is supposed to signal these processes with flashing LEDs). Further, the IR from the Pronto continues to operate as it soes in thte standard IR-enabled mode.
In the 9600, if the wireless option is selected, does it still issue IR commands? If so, then maybe I have a communications problem. If not, then I'd think that there is something wrong with the editor or the firmware that is interpreting the program file. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
