I'll be sure to come check you out then! I'm anxious to see this in action :). Have a client who 'could use it' or rather needs it, unfortunately I'll have to make him wait :(. Is there a demo video I can show him? Or perhaps a beta?

Anybody seen this in the flesh yet?

What's the verdict?

Apparently the module is 49 euros - locked by serial number to the pronto & no custom installer version either, so if you have a client with multiple pronto's it's going to get expensive!

Hi there!

The ATV script is now available in the Philips Clean Design so it can be easily integrated into any project.

Furthermore, we have added IR support for the OSD while in the 'Now Playing' page so you can use "both worlds" -- as long as we haven't implemented the OSD control via IP... We're working on it but unfortunately there is no support from Apple which would really help. We have contacted them but their response was that there is no DAAP support whatsoever. This is not helping the popularity of ATV as it should IMHO. Do you hear this, Steve???

Anyway, the script will come with a protected JS file that contains your internal Pronto serial Number(s) and a regular XCF that can be downloaded from www.empure.de starting Monday 15th of Feb. There you can also find the pairingtool which is used for pairing your Pronto with the ATV and the manual on how to set everything up.

Due to the high demand there will be a dealer's license but so far we are still working on how this could work for both sides since we have put a lot of time, effort and money into this project so it needs to be a win-win for all of us!

Right now each individual license retails for 50 Euro incl. VAT which works on ONE Pronto with as many ATVs as you need.

Keep it rocking!

We will check the marantz today! Then I'll get back here...

The Marantz RC9001 does not support protected librarys, so it will not work with this script.

The product is END OF LIFE @ marantz, so i think there will be no more firmware updates.

So to bad for you RC9001 owners..

Two questions for poojoe: Will the AppleTV script ever support browsing and playing shared movies (ripped DVDs) in an iTunes library in addition to music? And when will empure's DenONOFF iPhone app be available, and at what price?

Thanks -

Patrick

Hi there! Unfortunately, Kevin82 is right, script doesn't run on the marantz...

Furthermore, if you have a huge library on your ATV there will be an update sometime next week where you can disable the mini cover art preview so the Pronto doesn't load cover art forever and ever when you enter the activity.

For ATV flash users: The script works but there seems to be a sessionID problem, in which case the ATV will simply close the service to the Pronto and then re-open the session after a couple of minutes. We have no idea so far what's going on there but are working on that problem. Waiting around 5 minutes or turning the ATV off and on solves that problem.

Keep it rocking!

paxtond: no cues, Apple uses playlists but you have to create them using iTunes...

Latest iTunes Remote (on iPhone/iPod touch) added a "DJ" queuing function. But only for iTunes control and not AppleTV control. Right ?

OSD control is something you can do, for sure. Autonomic controls do it with their crestron module.
