PCF import - again I don't know for sure, but based on
the TSU9600 and what I know of the differences between
XCF and PCF files, I would expect a 1:1 perfect import.

I imported my 7000's PCF into my 9600, and it worked without
any change.
However, from memory, there was some overlap with the
System area and I had to move some buttons down a bit.
Of course, because the 9600 has a higher resolution, everything
was a quarter the size. This won't be a problem withteh
9400.
It's encouraging to know that PCFs port well to the TSU9600.
I still have unpleasant memories when I ported my TS1000 CCF to a TSU3000. In addition to many problems many folks had with the early TSU3000, I'm one of the few that had a projector controlled by the Somfy remote. It took forever before I could get the TSU3000 to operate the Somfy. I guess this is a good "acid" test.... Does anyone here own a Somfy IRT 103 remote, and have you successfully gotten the TSU9600 to replicate the Somfy's up/down/stop commands?
Moving from a TSU3000 to a TSU7000 was much easier. Only graphics-related work had to be done. It's sounding like going from a TSU7000 to a TSU9600 is almost just as easy? Except, of course, changes for graphics, and to take advantage of any new capabilities.
