Hi there,

when trying to upload ANY project (and even after restarting the PC and so forth) I get the error message "ProntoEdit Professional Internal Error: MSD not found. Please check the troubleshooting section in the user guide (Error:C4, MSD not found)".

What in the world happened and most of all, how do I fix it?!?

When you installed the software, did you have Administrator rights on the PC? If not, please uninstall and reinstall with Admin rights. Also, what OS are you using? If it is Vista, have you tried running the program in XP compatibility mode?

I had this problem, I downloaded the firmware upgrade [Link: pronto.philips.com] from philips site and plugged the usb cable directly into the tsu9600 not the cradle. It told me I had a damaged firmware and reinstalled it, works fine now.

Seemed to be a bad connection from the usb into the cradle and the cradle to the 9600.
