I am not an expert w/ this remote, although I have figured out how to configure everything to all my components, I know I am not fully enjoying the capabilities of this remote, such as the graphics and many more things im sure it can do. I have added the RFX 9400 extender and got that to work just fine, except for the macros do not work. (which will work in IR mode and whenever I perform actions seperatly) As I gathered on here, this might be a timing issue, so I will try to add more delays etc. The question I have is how the heck can I get this rotary wheel to perform my volume up and down on my receiver? I cannot figure this out. It seems from the Edit professional that this option should work as I input the Action I want.. but nope, Cant get it to work. Any suggestions please? and also, if you know of a website or any kind of information reguarding some tips for programming this remote, i could use that also.. Thanks alot guys.

The rotary wheel use requires prontoscript, very little, very simple, but does require Prontoscript

You will need the prontoscript developers quide and a good reference on Javascript. A little searching of this forum will clue you in.

Is there an easy way to globally apply a scroll wheel script or do I have to copy it to every activity properties page?

You must copy to every activity or use PEPv2 and Libraries. With a library, you can put code in one location and use System.include("mylib.js") to execute said code in library at activity startup. Note that System.include() statement must be present in any activity needing to use said script.

Like myself, he is under agreement with Philips as a Beta Tester and cannot discuss unreleased feature content that has not been publicly displayed publicly by Philips (for example - Gestures @ Cedia which I commented on in September) . You will just have to wait and see.

I can say that the fix will not be "universal" as you'd hope. If using ProntoScript, you will have to resort to the library approach.
