[Link: remotecentral.com]I have spent countless hours on the phone with reps, distributors, and level 4 tech at logitech and they all are telling me the same thing; "the platform has been changed and will continue to change to make it very difficult for custom installers (people like us) to continue to use the squeezebox." Their business models have drastically changed and is continuing to evolve and they have cornered themselves out of the custom market. This is a MAJOR issue for those of us wanting to use the SBox with our Pronto remotes. If you want details on how the platform works now, let me know and I'll be more than happy to post info here, but I'm just curious to know how these changes will hurt the use of the pronto with EITHER script available here. Currently, if your SBox is configured and was working prior to this change, it will continue to work...for now. If you are thinking about getting a squeezebox to use with your pronto for the first time, forget about it...for now, at least until we can be sure things will continue to work. Logitech obviously doesn't care about the custom field and the fact that their CEO has changed 3 times in the last year makes me nervous! Thanks a lot Logitech!
