Is the beam on the TSU9300 a wide beam? If so, roughly how many degrees at roughly 10'?

Its hard to say but around 45 deg but it also depends on distance and the IR receiver.

I still don't know why Philips won't allow the RFX9200 to work with the rest of the PRO line.

Like i said its hard to say, you may find you get 180 deg.
What do you mean about the RFX9200 not working like the pro ones?

My experince is that most prontos work 360 degrees on most occasions. I have to put them under a blanket if I dont want them to trigger any gear.
9200 is a totally differnt platform and communicates via digital RF, not Wifi as the rest of the prontos.
There are 5 emmitting LEDs for IR

What do you mean about the RFX9200 not working like the pro ones? I just mean it in the context that the 93/94/9600 can't do basic RF and be used with a simple RF to IR like the RFX9200.

like the TSU 9200 with a RFX9200.

like the TSU 9200 with a RFX9200. Exactly, at $200 more than the RFX9200. Why not make it compatible with the RFX9200 as well?

Different Wireless technology... the 9200 range was never ment to be a CI product, but a domestic DIY range.

That makes perfect sense, except why include the 9200 in the pro line with a different user interface? It should have been marketed to the lower line. There are customers out there who want a remote withOUT a touchscreen, so it would make sense to include the 9200 in the actual PRO line. That's neither here nor there I suppose, so it's a mute point. Thanks for the responses.

As i said befor it was going tobe a DIY product, that is why there are differances.
It turned out to be difficult for most of the consumers to program, hence it got a new Model number with the prefix TSU.... i think it may have started life as an SRU like most of the consumer remotes..
Hope all this helps :)
