I finally got my KINO LINEAR Sled running using the contact closures on the unit controlling it via the extender relays. It works great I have it working with Vertical Stretch in the unit the relay open (putting lens in place ) together but when I turn the vertical stretch button off the lens go back but it wont vertical stretch off. I have to go to the Projector page on my remote and press vertical stretch button off (single command) to make it work. I can't see why it doesn't work when pressing on they both work fine. Any ideas?
Thanks

Frank

Hi Frank

I have seen your setup over on AVS and it looks really nice. Let me start by saying I do not use PEP2 and I know there are some differences with the way macros and codes are handled but I will try some basics, if you are sending the sled command first in the macro try reversing them so the projector code goes first or try increasing the delay time between the two commands in the macro and lastly, in PEP1 ther is a way to adjust the duration of an IR code (click on the code and down at the bottom of the page you can change the duration). If you can still do that in PEP2 then I would try that if all else fails. Good luck.

I suspect this may be your issue.

If you have a button that Contains ProntoScript, then the 'ProntoScript' button must be in pressed state in order for script to execute when button is pressed on the screen. Converse is true as well. If you need both script and actions, then you must use this.executeActions() at the end of your script.

Franin,

Try inserting a delay between the lens and the stretch commands.

The duration of an IR code can be changed in MyDataBase, but since an isolated command on a button seems to work OK, the IR duration is probably correct. A delay between commands is what I would try first.

You could also change the order of the commands. Give the stretch command before the lens command.

Another possibility is that while the lens is moving, some light escapes and blinds the IR receiver.

Hi Buzz

I have put a delay but still when turning off VS no go. Turning on VS works and sled goes into place. I guess its one of those things that for some reason cannot be explained. The ir Emitter is placed on the back so there is no light issue. The stretch command has always been first.

Thanks Buzz
Thanks

Did you try increasing the Duration as Buzz said?

If that does not work, Post the Learnt Hex Codes you are using. They might be poorly Learnt and need to be cleaned.

Cheers
Jason
