Which motorola codeset do i use to get the DVR control codes. The standard 6412 set does not have the A, B, C button codes

Did you try learning the needed codes from the original remote? I also have the Motorola DCT6412 and learned all the codes from the original remote without any problems. Have yet to use any codeset from the built-in database. Just assume learn the codes I need.

I don't currently have access to the remote, that's the problem, otherwise I would have done as you suggested and just learned them all.
