In an earlier post, you mentioned that you saw this issue also on a WRT54G, but you did not mention the hardware and firmware revision. Does the MAC address also change when you have this issue with the WRT-54G ?

Also, the latest firmware version for the D-Link DIR 615 is 3.11NA - have you tried with that firmware revision as well ?

1) I will try everything again with my Linksys. I don't have the Firmware version number of the Linksys at the top of my head, but I did the update last week. I will redo every tests.

2) Yes, since I wrote my first post, I did the update on the DLINK. I am now using 3.11 NA.

Thanks.

I just finished my tests. It does exactly the same thing with my Linksys WRT54G (the DLINK is unplugged). The MAC address changes also. The firmware of my Linksys is version 1.02.7.

At this point, I have to think that my Pronto is defective. My only option is to return it... unless somebody else have another idea...

Since I changed from WEP (after Pronto Firmware update) to WAP it takes about 30 Minutes before it connects the first time when powering up the homecinema.

Acesspoint: Netgear WGT634U, Firmware 1.4.1.13 Channel 11 / g only, Broadcast ON, No HDCP, WAP

TSU9600 Firmware 7.1.21 Fixed IP, WAP, Timeout 2 Hours

RFX9600 Firmware 1.3.8 Fixed IP

Does anyone have a clue and can give a hint?

Double check your fixed IP addresses for a conflict.
