Does anyone have experience with controlling an MZC-66 (or related) control system from a TSU9600? I would like to have control over indivual zones as if I were at the keypad. I don't expect that I will be able to get feedback (although it would be great) but would like to at least control zone sources and basic pass-thru control of underlying audio sources. I don't yet have the remote but wasn't sure how I could go about doing this. I don't have a remote for the MZC - not sure if I need one to teach the TSU.

Thanks,
Pete

Real easy to do without any remotes. As soon as I get a few more minutes, I'll go into detail.

Have both EZ Tools and PEP open at the same time. In EZ Tools select the button you want to learn, right click and select all the way at the bottom "export button ez code as pronto hex. Next, in PEP, paste into the IR hex box for a custom IR code.

Repeat for each button you use in each of the sources. That's it.

You will need to splice in some IR control from the pronto into the IR pins on the RJ-45 jack on the back of your 66 in one of the zones since that is the only way to get IR into the MZC unit. Hope this gets you started.
