Got my 9600 last week, love the hardware but unfortunately it falls far short of being an uber controller purely because of the limitations of the software.
Sadly all I need to do is examine the packet data sent via the router to the extender to work out the protocol then with a cheap wi-fi PDA I can build a more powerful controller than my £700 pronto.
C'mon Phillips, release an API or an object model so that those of us who are capable of application programming can really make this thing dance. It can only help the pronto if there are people actively writing support for all the hardware that's out there.

We can be hopeful that it MAY come at some stage in the 2/3 quarter of this year :-)
We will just have to wait and see what happens.
