I love the TSU9800, and have used three of them now, including one in our showroom. My only beef is the brightness of the LCD backlighting.
Has anyone else noticed this, or have I gotten 3 bad units?
Naturally, I have already cranked the brightness to its maximum setting. And in a dimly lit room, its not an issue. But in a room with decent size windows, or with plenty of light, its fairly difficult to see the screen.
The TSU9600 and TSU9400 do not have this problem. Their displays are very bright, vivid, and colorful. Its just on the TSU9800.
Just want to get others' input...

I agree with you. I have one. It is fine, but not as bright/sharp as my 9600 or 9400. Probably the first thing I noticed about it. Wish they could be a bit brighter. SJ

(yea, I know it's a old thread) I just came from a TSU7500, then moved to TSU9600 that I have had for a few years.
I just got a TSU9800, although I love the size, the display is very dim. Is there any mod to get this brighter or is this just how they are made ?
The 9600 was so bright but, the 9800 is so, meh...

Not that I am aware of. Are they all like this ? Or was there some models that looked as nice as the 9600 ?
