My question is how do I get the page down and page up button to work on the left hand side of the screen. I have looked at the wizard implementation with the page up and page down command but when I have two pages on say my TV and I have done the two pages using the tab one of two and two of two from the graphic gallery the page up and down no longer work unless I assign in the activities that the page up button is actually a page jump and the same for the page up is assigned a page jump. The tabs also don't work unless I assign it a page jump instead of the normal page down and page up.

Hope this is not too confusing.
Can someone please enlighten me on this?
I actually want to understand how it works and not just cut and paste please.

Thanks

So I found out if I unhide the page then I will work with page up and page down, but then the second page now becomes the home page instead of the page with the little house beside it.

Any ideas anyone?

The Page Up and Page Down special actions cycle you through the visible pages of any given device you happen to be under at the time. Hidden pages of a given device are skipped over. Under the Home device specifically, the first visible page under that device is your Home page, the page which the remote will display upon initial download of your XCF or after having reset the remote. If all pages are hidden under the Home device then the first page under said device is your Home page. That being said, the Home hard button assignment under your System device and other devices will then determine what is your Home page if of course you are using the Home hard button for this purpose. By default the Home special action is assigned to the Home hard button under your System device which again takes you to the first visible page under your Home device or first page under said device if all pages are hidden.

Removed as Lowpro covered what I had to say in above post which I must admit I did not read at the time I thought of posting. :-)

That is what I thought but for some strange reason, the home page first one under the home and activities with the little house beside it no longer becomes my home page once I add two pages using the tab. what happens is if I unhide the second page it becomes the Home page even when the House is on the first home page above the second page of my tab 2 of 2. Once I the second page then the Home page becomes the page with the house again but now I can no longer use the hard buttons because the second page is hidden.
So basically if second page hidden than = no hard button up or down
but not hiding second page = hard button up down ok but second page becomes home page even though house is on the first page. This is a problem because when the remote fires up it will show the second page.

I solved it by copying all the items on my home page then deleting the home page and then pasting all the items back on a new home page and then it seemed to work. So basically it looks like whatever page is the last one added under the home becomes the home page for some strange reason.

In the tree on the left, you can do Ctrl Up/Down arrow to arrange the pages in ANY order you see fit.

It only works on pages that are not under the Home home page. The Home home page for some silly reason only works as described above for me not sure if it is the same for everyone else.
Other than that I have to say I love the software. It suprises me at it's capabilities and I don't even know prontoscript yet.

In PEPv1, the home page works fine for me. In PEPv2, however, it has always worked a bit oddly. My solution is simple: set up the home page as a hidden blank page and everything works fine as it just gets ignored.

Guy, thanks for the clarification. I was indeed using PEPv1.
